SSV Transport Lines, previously known as SS Transports, started functioning from 2nd of November, 2009 with one bus in the city route. Subsequently, buses were added in the mofussil route between Port Blair to Rangat, Billiground, Nimbudera, Mayabunder and Diglipur to cater to the needs of people in remote islands, thereby achieving connectivity. We operate a fleet of express buses on ATR route and Feeder routes between Kadamtala – Mayabunder – Kadamtala and Rangat – Mayabunder – Diglipur and vice versa. This has resulted in employment generation, both directly and indirecly. We also have dedicated customer support centres at Port Blair, Rangat and Diglipur.
Our decision to commence bus service between Port Blair to Diglipur was to provide fillip to the demand vs supply scenario. In this view, it was decided that every passenger needs to reach their destination/home without any hardship enroute. Hence,with the concurrence and support of the concerned authorities, the firm has moved into inducting more buses to achieve this objective.
